Massage Therapy FAQs
What massage modalities do you offer?
We offer Thai Yoga Massage (performed on a table for your neck comfort), Swedish + Deep-Tissue Combination Massage, and Hot-Stone Massage Therapy.
What are the benefits of massage?
Massage promotes relaxation, relieves stress, alleviates discomfort, and enhances blood circulation and improves sleep. Regular sessions can also improve flexibility, posture, and even your immune system,
Who can benefit from your services?
Anyone with a body* and a pulse! Stressed-out office warriors hunched over keyboards, athletes with muscles tighter than a peanut butter jar lid, parents juggling kids like circus clowns, even couch potatoes who’ve just completed a Netflix marathon. (* : If you've a body within your body, then sorry, we can't handle that ... but Hey, Congrats!!)
How can I book a session?
You can easily book a session online through our website's realtime reservation system, or just reach out via WhatsApp.
What should I expect during a session?
Expect a clean, modern, and inviting environment with certified massage therapists focused on your comfort and satisfaction.
What should I wear to my massage appointment?
As little as you're comfortable with—underwear is fine, or go au naturel under the sheets. We're pros at draping, so there's absolutely no peeking. Just remember, you're going for muscle therapy, not to a rave party.
Will the massage hurt?
Only if you consider melting into a puddle of bliss painful. We’ll adjust pressure to your liking—think of it like Goldilocks: not too hard, not too soft, but just right. Most of our clients don’t want a quick, superficial spa massage that simply "polishes" the skin. Nor, however, do we believe in applying the maximum force possible, remember that pain is not the goal. After a nice warmup, our massages strive to work into deeper layers of tissue effectively and thoughtfully.
How often should I get a massage?
As often as you’d like to feel like a human again! Weekly, biweekly, or monthly—depends on how many knots you’re collecting from life’s chaos. Massage boosts happy hormones like serotonin and reduces stress hormones like cortisol. Plus, we're basically giving your muscles heaps of hugs for an hour ... Who wouldn’t love that?
What massage oil or lotion do you use?
The Thai Yoga Massage is done without oil. We use fractionated coconut oil for our other massages. Unlike regular coconut oil, fractionated coconut oil doesn’t feel heavy or sticky. It absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving an oily residue. It has no smell and is non-comedogenic (meaning it doesn't clog the pores of the skin). It is gentle and suitable for most skin types, even sensitive skin.
